สวัสดีปีไก่และสวัสดีวันเด็กด้วยบล็อกใหม่เอี่ยม – บันทึกเรื่องความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ว่าด้วยการเล่นของเด็กๆ และผู้ใหญ่หัวใจเด็กค่ะ Happy New Year and Happy Thai National Children’s Day 2017 with my new blog post “Creativity: Playing.”
ภาพดรอว์อิ้งน่ารักๆ ที่เห็นข้างบนนี้เป็นฝีมือของน้องธันเดอร์ อายุ 5 ขวบค่ะ พอดูออกไหมคะว่าธันเดอร์วาดรูปอะไร นี่คือ Black Panther คาแรคเตอร์หนึ่งจากมาร์เวล ซูเปอร์ฮีโร่นั่นเองค่ะ ตอนนี้ธันเดอร์กำลังคลั่งตัวละครจากค่ายมาร์เวลมาก ถามอะไรตอบได้หมด แถมยังชอบนำคาแรคเตอร์เหล่านี้มาเป็นแบบสำหรับวาดตามอย่างที่เห็นด้วย ฮีโร่ที่ธันเดอร์ชอบมากที่สุดก็คือธอร์(ชื่อสายฟ้าเหมือนกันเลยนะ) ภาพข้างล่างนี้เป็นหุ่นกระดาษธอร์ที่เราทำเล่นด้วยกันค่ะ
Two beautiful drawings above were done by a little boy named Thunder. He is now 5 years old and has a strong passion to draw everything about Marvel super heroes. He can answer you any questions about Iron Man or Spider-Man or Captain America and his favorite character is Thor. This is Thor, artwork that we drew together.
ในเป้ของธันเดอร์จะต้องมีกระเป๋าดินสอรถไฟโทมัสแอนด์เฟรนด์ติดไว้ตลอด แต่ในกระเป๋าไม่ได้มีพวกดินสอหรือยางลบนะคะ ในนั้นมีแต่ชุดเลโก้จากตัวละครของมาร์เวล – ไอรอนแมน สไปเดอร์แมน กัปตันอเมริกา ธันเดอร์มีหมดทุกตัว ว่างเมื่อไหร่เป็นไม่ได้ต้องหยิบออกมาเล่น เล่นคนเดียวก็ไม่สนุกต้องหาเพื่อนเล่นด้วย เรามีโอกาสเล่นเลโก้กับธันเดอร์หลายครั้ง บางครั้งก็จับแยกชิ้นส่วนซูเปอร์ฮีโร่พวกนั้นออกมาประกอบใหม่เป็นชุดเครื่องครัวและเล่นทำอาหารเสียเลย สุดท้ายคือธันเดอร์เชิญหุ่นเลโก้ธอร์มากินข้าวในเซ็ตดินเนอร์ที่เราจัดเอาไว้(ฮา!)
Thunder always has many Avengers Lego sets in his Thomas and friends pencil bag. He carries it every where and ready to create something anytime. Thunder sometimes let me borrow tiny Lego pieces to built my own dinner set and of course, he invited his Lego Thor to have a dinner with me.
แต่ว่าเมื่อก่อนธันเดอร์ไม่ได้คลั่งธอร์แบบนี้ค่ะ ปีที่แล้ว ความสนใจของธันเดอร์คือนายช่างบ็อบจาก Bob The Builder ธันเดอร์ชอบรถแบคโฮมาก เวลานั่งรถผ่านไซต์ก่อสร้างเป็นต้องเกาะกระจกมองเหลียวหลังทุกที เวลาเราเจอกันทีไรมักเรียกธันเดอร์ว่านายช่างบ็อบและธันเดอร์ก็มักจะหัวเราะคิกคัก นายช่างบ็อบมักประหลาดใจทุกครั้งที่เราสามารถวาดรถแบคโฮและรถแทร็กเตอร์(ซึ่งมีรายละเอียดยากๆ)ได้ ต้องถามตลอดว่าวาดได้ยังไง เราเลยตอบกลับเด็กสี่ขวบไปด้วยความภูมิใจว่าเพราะว่าเราวาดรูปเก่งไงล่ะ! : D
A year ago Thunder was crazy about backhoe and his hero was Bob The Builder. When he came to my home, he would asked me to draw with him. “Hello Bob!” this was my greeting to Thunder because he WAS REALLY Bob The Builder at that time. Bob was very surprised when I drew the complicated outline of backhoe and tractor for him. “How can you do it!?” he asked me with his sparkling eyes. “Because I AM GOOD at it, aren’t I ?” this was the answer from me (so-called professional illustrator who has 12 years’ experience) with a big proud smile to 4-year-old kid.
แต่อยู่มาวันหนึ่งธันเดอร์ก็บอกว่าไม่อยากเป็นบ็อบแล้ว จริงๆ ธันเดอร์จำได้นะคะว่าตัวเองเคยชอบอะไร แต่ว่าตอนนี้ไม่เอาละ ธันเดอร์อยากเป็นธอร์มากกว่า เจอกันแต่ละครั้งไม่มีครั้งไหนที่ธันเดอร์ไม่วาดธอร์ วาดซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าเหมือนจะไม่มีวันเบื่อ แต่ว่าเด็กๆ ก็อย่างนี้ใช่ไหมล่ะคะ หัวข้อที่สนใจมักเปลี่ยนไปเรื่อยๆ และทุ่มกันสุดตัวไปเสียทุกครั้ง พลังของธันเดอร์เหมือนจะไม่มีวันหมด ที่สำคัญ ไม่ว่าความสนใจของธันเดอร์จะเป็นอะไร ทุกครั้งที่ธันเดอร์ได้ดินสอและกระดาษไป ธันเดอร์ไม่มีความกลัวหรือลังเลที่จะวาดเลย : >
One day Thunder wanted to be Thor instead of Bob The Builder. He still remembered that he was crazy about backhoe but he decided to move forward. Time after time his favorite subject is changed but Thunder does not stop exploring his curiosity by making something new.
Give Thunder any size of paper and he will grab pencil and start to draw immediately. This little boy is never fear to draw.

นี่คือน้องฮิโรโยชิ หรือชื่อที่เรามักเรียกเขาสั้นๆ ก็คือโยชิค่ะ โยชิเป็นลูกศิษย์ไวโอลินตัวน้อยของพี่ชายเราเอง บางครั้งเราก็มีโอกาสตามพี่ชายไปด้วยเวลาสอน (ต้องขอขอบคุณแอน-คุณแม่น้องโยชิที่อนุญาตด้วยนะคะ : )) เวลาที่ได้มีโอกาสสังเกตเด็กๆ ตอนเรียนดนตรีนี่สนุกมากเลย แต่ละคนมักมีแอคชั่นขำๆ ที่เราคาดไม่ถึงเสมอ
มีอยู่วันหนึ่งหลังจากโยชิเรียนเสร็จแล้ว เราก็ได้มีโอกาสมานั่งวาดรูปเล่นกัน เป็นการวาดที่รื่นรมย์ และโยชิเองก็วาดรูปเก่งมาก โยชิเป็นคนมีอารมณ์ขันและช่างสังเกต ลองไล่ดูภาพที่โยชิวาดแต่ละภาพนะคะว่าดูแล้วรู้สึกอย่างไรบ้าง ส่วนเราเองดูแล้วอมยิ้มทุกภาพ
This is Hiroyoshi or Yoshi. He has studied violin with my brother for many years. I sometimes follow my brother to visit Yoshi’s home. One day, after violin class Yoshi and I had a chance to draw together. It was fun. He enjoyed every moment of his drawing process. He smile while trying to do the new portrait of his violin teacher. We couldn’t help giggling at each other because the drawing was similar to Suneo, a character from Doraemon.
I loved his tender and free drawing lines. He saw things through his observant eyes with a sense of humor. He had good energy.

หลังจากนั่งพักไปได้สักหน่อย โยชิก็วิ่งเข้าวิ่งออกเอาหนังสือมาให้ดู ส่วนใหญ่เป็นพวกสารานุกรม เอาเป็นว่าโยชิเป็นเด็กที่รักการเรียนรู้มาก ลงลึกในแต่ละเรื่องที่ตัวเองสนใจ แล้วโยชิก็ทำให้เราประหลาดใจด้วยการนำผลงานโอริกามิของตัวเองออกมาให้ดู
We took a rest for a while. Yoshi ran to his room and came back to me with a kind of encyclopedia for student in his hands. He opened it and told me about various kinds of gems. He knew many other things and he focused on details. Then he made me surprise by showing his origami works.
ที่บอกว่าประหลาดใจ เพราะโยชิทำไว้เยอะมากกก มากจริงๆ ค่ะ และอย่างที่ทราบกันว่าโอริกามิเป็นงานที่เรียกร้องสมาธิสูง การพับ Flasher hat อันนึงก็กินเวลาหลายชั่วโมงแล้ว นี่แสดงว่าโยชิสมาธิดีมาก สามารถจดจ่อกับสิ่งนี้ได้นานๆ โยชิมีความอดทน เพราะมีงานหลายชิ้นที่โยชิเอาออกมาให้ดูแล้วบอกว่าเป็นชิ้นในช่วงตอนเริ่มฝึกใหม่ๆ ยังไม่สมบูรณ์ดีนัก พูดง่ายๆ ว่าทำเสียไปหลายอัน แต่โยชิก็อดทน ค่อยๆ ฝึกไปเรื่อยๆ จนพับได้ตามต้องการ
โยชิเองก็คล้ายๆ ธันเดอร์ ที่เริ่มขยายความสนใจไปยังสิ่งอื่นๆ หลังจากฝึกจนเข้าใจโอริกามิทะลุปรุโปร่งแล้วปีนี้โยชิก็กำลังมีความสุขกับการไขปริศนารูบิคค่ะ
Yoshi’s works were amazing. He did it a lot. Staying focus during making complicated paper folding can be tough even in adult. In 2016,Yoshi mostly finished all types of origami and, like Thunder, he extended his interest and moved forward to something new. Now Yoshi is busy with sloving rubic game. It seems he enjoys it as well as origami.

This is my 93-year-old grandma with her drawing.
เรื่องเริ่มจากที่ว่าพวกเราพากันไปกินไอศกรีม และเนื่องจากกลุ่มเรามีหลานตัวน้อยติดไปด้วย ทางร้านจึงให้ชุดระบายสีมาไว้เผื่อให้น้องได้เล่นระหว่างพวกเราทานไอศกรีมกัน ปรากฏว่าขณะที่หลานกำลังระบายสีเล่นอยู่ คุณยายก็เริ่มหยิบสีมาวาดที่ขอบกระดาษอีกด้านหนึ่งบ้าง น่าจะจริงจังมากจนในที่สุดก็ยึดกระดาษไปวาดเล่นเองทั้งแผ่นเลยค่ะ
การ(วาด)เล่น(แบบจริงจัง)นี่ไม่จำกัดวัยจริงๆ นะ
We were at ice-cream parlour. The staffs gave us coloring sheet because we had kid with us. While kid was coloring, grandma started to scribble something on the other edge of the same sheet. It turned out that 2-3 minutes later she possessed the whole piece of paper and drew seriously.
Seeing grandma drew for the first time made my day.

เวลาที่เราได้เห็นภาพวาดของเรากลับมีชีวิตขึ้นมาจริงๆ นี่มันทั้งน่าสนุกและน่าตื่นเต้นเลยนะคะ
เมื่อปีที่แล้ว เรากับเพื่อนได้มีโอกาสไปชมสวนสนุกอินเตอร์แอคทีฟจากญี่ปุ่นที่ชื่อ ทีมแล็บ ไอซ์แลนด์ มาค่ะ พวกเราชอบโซนที่เป็นอควาเรียม (Sketch Aquarium) กันมาก โดยโซนนี้จะมีกระดาษให้เราได้วาดปลาหรือแมงกะพรุนตามจินตนาการของตัวเอง วาดเสร็จแล้วนำไปสแกน หลังสแกนแล้วภาพที่เราวาดจะไปปรากฏอยู่บนโปรเจคเตอร์อควาเรียมขนาดใหญ่บนผนัง หลังจากนั้นปลาและแมงกะพรุนหน้าตาประหลาดของแต่ละคนก็จะว่ายวนไปมาอยู่ในอควาเรียมนี้เอง เวลาที่เราเอามือไปแตะ เจ้าฝูงสัตว์น้ำเหล่านี้ก็จะแตกฮือ เป็นที่สนุกสนานของเด็กๆ และผู้ใหญ่อย่างเราๆ ยิ่งนัก
It is fun to play and draw and see how our artworks come to life.
Last year I and my friend visited “Learn & Play Interactive Theme Park” by teamLab Islands. We were amazed and impressed by Sketch Aquarium zone. Here are the explanations from teamLab:
“Children can observe the power of their creative imagination through Sketch Aquarium. Each participant is invited to color in a drawing of a sea creature of his or her preference. Once completed, the piece of paper is scanned, and the image is projected onto a giant virtual aquarium. Children will be able to see their creation come to life and swim with all the other sea creatures. Children may also touch the fish to see them swim away, or touch the virtual food bag to feed the fish.”
There was no limited to draw but only one rule in Sketch Aquarium ‘Do not draw outside of the frame’ and fortunately the frame was big enough for our creativity!
เจ้าสัตว์น้ำแต่ละตัวนี่ก็หน้าตาประหลาดทั้งนั้นเลย ทั้งตลกแล้วก็มีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ มีตัวแมงกระพรุนโดราเอม่อนและปลาโปเกม่อนด้วยนะคะ ! ยามที่เราต้องวาดอะไรในเวลาสั้นๆ ก็มักจะมีอะไรสนุกๆ แบบนี้เกิดขึ้นมาเสมอเลย อย่างรูปด้านล่างนี้เป็นผลงานการวาดปลาของเพื่อน(ซ้าย)และเราค่ะ(ขวา) เท่าที่จำได้ แต่ละคนก็ใช้เวลาไม่ถึงห้านาทีค่ะ
All of sea creatures in Sketch Aquarium were fantastic. (I saw Doraemon jellyfish and Pokemon fish swam together! – It reminded me of sea creatures in “Sea Monsters on Medieval and Renaissance Maps,” books by Chet Van Duzer. There are “Sea Dog” , “Sea Pig” and “Sea Rabbit” on a map in the Madrid manuscript of Ptolemy’s Geography of c. 1455-60.) When you were asked to draw immediately, the funniest thing would popped up in your head. It took less than 5 minutes for us and here are our creatures:
การเล่นสนุกโดยการวาดอะไรในเวลาไม่นาน แม้ว่าสิ่งนั้นจะเป็นแค่ลายเส้นขยุกขยุยก็ตามที แล้วสิ่งที่เราวาดนั้นกลับได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของอะไรที่น่าตื่นตาแบบนี้ แถมผู้ชมคนอื่นๆ ก็ยังได้มีโอกาสเห็นไปพร้อมๆ กันอีกด้วย มันทำให้เรามีความสุขมากเลยว่าไหมคะ มันทำให้เรามีกำลังใจวาดต่อไปอีก ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ส่วนหนึ่งก็มักเกิดขึ้นมาในสภาพแวดล้อมแบบนี้นั่นเองค่ะ
It was an enjoyment and happiness for visitors, both children and adults , to see their artworks being part of something bigger than themselves and being seen by many others.
Every drawing lines in Sketch Aquarium were important, even meaningless scribble could be turned to something very interesting. We, the visitors, were all encoraged to draw by Sketch Aquarium – the Aquarium of Creativity. : D
